Travelling in an electric wheelchair

Trams:

The lines 6 and 8 operate with low-floor trams (Type Combino). Access to the tram is at the second door from the front by way of a special wheelchair ramp. A few stops (e.g. Bankverein) are not suitable for access by wheelchair.

On lines serviced by older vehicles, unfortunately access to the trams is not possible as they do not have special wheelchair ramps.

Buses:

All buses in operation are equipped with a special wheelchair ramp.

Our crews are happy to help you when getting on board. Please call the driver’s attention by giving a hand signal when you want the vehicle to stop.
